About Reid Brogden

An orthodontic specialist educated at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Reid Brogden has worked in Cary, North Carolina, since completing his advanced education in 2004. In his private practice, he provides braces, alternatives to braces, dentofacial orthopedics, and surgical orthodontics. Dr. Reid Brogden takes an interest in new orthodontic developments, having written his residency thesis on the potential use of 3-D virtual modeling as a valid replacement for traditional plaster casts. He continually educates himself on the latest techniques through extensive continuing education and orthodontic research publications and journals.

In addition to his professional work, Dr. Reid Brogden is devoted to supporting a number of charities. He supports national organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association, as well as local organizations such as Duke Children’s Hospital. Dr. Brogden further supports Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and Comfort Zone Camp, which help those who are hungry and children who are grieving after the loss of a parent, respectively.

In his remaining free time, Dr. Brogden enjoys traveling, gardening, and reading. A sports fan, he also enjoys playing tennis and golf, helping to coach his children’s soccer teams.
